  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place paper cups in 12 count muffin tin.
  3. Beat butter and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time.
  5. Sift flour baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt and fold into egg and butter mixture alternating with milk.
  6. Spoon in cups, bake 20-25 minutes until golden.
