  1. Awww, they don't like my recipe name. Breaks my heart!! LOL :)

  2. After browsing through a lot of your wonderful recipes, I found this one. I had all of the ingredients on hand, and I was rushed a little for time. This dish was wonderful, and yes, even DH loved it!! It was easy, and because I baked it, I had time to finish other things for the dinner. We really did like this dish a lot. Too bad Wee Tam and The Big Huge didn't make it, I am sure he would have liked it as much as we did.

  4. This was an awesome flavor, and the chops just fell off the bone. Very easy, too. Next time I will serve it with plain rice or noodles to sop up all that yummy sauce. (Made it with heavy cream.)

  5. This was a fantastic recipe. Just a few simple ingredients and it was easy to prepare. Great for those weekday evenings when you need a quick and tasty meal. I used a corn starch slurry to thicken the cream and onion soup mixture after I pulled the porkchops out, that's just a personal preference thing. The gravy was excellent served over the chops!

  1. This also did not work out for me.... I used milk instead of cream & it also curdled... It didn't really have good flavor either

  2. I make this also except I use a can or two of mushroom soup in place of the light cream!! Simply Awesome!! as the title says!

  3. Hubby gives this 4 stars. That is very good for him! We really liked the flavor of the sauce and the chops were nice and moist. I served it over noodles, made "Pammy's Easy Creamy Canned Corn and a small salad to go with. Yum!I used 4 boneless center cut chops (a little over a pound). I browned them in margarine instead of butter (was out). I also used half and half. I used the full package of onion soup mix. I baked for 60 minutes. (I wonder if the half and half helps cut the salty taste? Our's weren't overly salty. Thanks for the recipe.)

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
