ingredients

  • 1 apple, cut into small pieces (peeled or not, its up to you)
  • 4 tablespoons nut butter (i like almond butter and soynut butter)
  • 3 tablespoons agave nectar or 3 tablespoons honey

directions

  • place apples in a cup.
  • layer with nut butter.
  • top off with honey!
  • these are the amounts i like using, but you can change it.
  • enjoy!

  1. Healthy. Nice to add some fruit as I usually mix raw honey (but I extra love date syrup) and nut butter for a sweet snack. I used macintosh and granny smith apples which I peeled because they were not organic and Nuts to You Nut Butter in my favourite right now, almond hazelnut. I do like a tbs less sweetener. Made for FEBRUARY'S SUN and SPICE EVENTS PRIME INGREDIENT CHALLENGE: NUT BUTTER.
     
  2. Super yum! I used crunchy almond butter. I spooned it into a bowl and heated for a few seconds so that it would drizzle nicely on the apples. :)
     
  3. Yum - what a tasty and healthy treat! I used peanut butter and honey; my apple was fairly small so I only used about half the amounts specified. I warmed the peanut butter just a touch so that I could drizzle it over the apple layers. Thanks for posting this yummy treat! Made for Spring PAC 2009
