Single Serving Hot Cocoa
"i developed this recipe when i realised we had no hot cocoa mix in the cupboard. i like this recipe alot better, and will no longer buy the packaged hot cocoa."

ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 dash cinnamon
- whipped cream or marshmallows (toppings) (optional)
directions
- heat milk in the microwave until hot.
- mix in all ingredients until smooth.
- (except toppings).
- add toppings.
- enjoy!

This is a very yummy quick fix for a chocolate craving. I used splenda instead of sugar and 1/3 cup powdered milk and 1 cup of water instead of fresh milk and it turned out wonderful. Thanks J.L.H for sharing your recipe. -
I liked this cocoa. It wasn't overly sweet. It's nice to have when you want cocoa that isn't the instant powdered kind made with hot water. Thanks jill hampton. Bullwinkle.
