"This cookie comes out soft and is great cut like a pie and served with vanilla ice cream ( or chocolate). Make sure you use an oven proof skillet, I use cast iron."

  1. I halved this recipe and used only 1/4 cup of butter. also, I opted not to add nuts. I used our smaller 6 1/2" cast iron skillet and it took 30 minutes to bake. Easy to make, fun to eat! :)

  2. When my kids asked what was for dessert, and I said a cookie, the confused faces hit. I used 3/4 cup chocolate chips, and 3/4 cup butterscotch chips. The faces were more puzzling when I got the pan out. Ending result was a nice soft, moist cookie that I divided in fourths, after cooling, a nice twist on dessert, served with chocolate/vanilla ice cream. Made for PRMR Tag.
