Skillet Chicken

"Dinner in under 20 minutes. Very tasty if I do say so myself! Good for whole family. Originally came from Knorr soup package. Prep time listed does not include time to make noodles or rice."

  • Use large skillet, medium high heat, melt butter.
  • Add chicken and brown turning occasionally, about five minutes.
  • Stir dill, soup mix and water into skillet.
  • Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat, simmer stirring occasionally 10 minutes or until chicken is tender.
  • Place chicken on a large plate.
  • Remove skillet from the heat, stir in sour cream.
  • Spoon sauce over the chicken.
  • Serve with cooked noodles or rice.

  1. I made this tonight for dinner. My 10 yr old didnt really like it. He said it didnt have any flavor. I liked the sauce it made but the chicken itself definitely needed some seasoning. VERY easy to make. Thanks!
     
  2. I was skeptical about this, but made it because it looked cheap and quick. I was pleasently suprised that it actually tasted great also! We loved it! I followed the recipe exactly and will definately make it again! We had it over white rice and I think it was the perfect pairing!
     
  3. We really enjoyed this. I made as directed other then I didn't add the dill weed. We were pleasantly surprised with this recipe. I didn't measure the sour cream I just eye balled it. Will be making this again. It was quick and easy to make.

  5. Been making this for several years now... we love it! I add a little extra sour cream so we have lots of sauce.
