I am originally from Knoxville, TN, but am currently living in the Washington, DC Metro area.
My favorite food to cook is any pasta dish. This is mostly due to the fact that I just love pasta, but probably partially due to how easy it is to cook pasta. I would label myself somewhere between beginner and intermediate as a cook. I've been cooking (on a regular basis) since I got married in June, 2005. However, I've pretty much stuck with simple pasta dishes and the occasional chicken dish the majority of that time. I have recently tried some simple seafood dishes, with success, but my husband and I are still learning to enjoy eating seafood.
I'd say the dish that I'm "famous" for would be a baked pasta recipe that I originally found on the Williams Sonoma website, and alter just a tiny bit each time I make it.
We look forward to moving back home to Tennessee in a few months, with the two cats we adopted while living up here.
