Directions

  1. Fry bacon till crisp; drain and reserve drippings.
  2. Add onion to drippings and cook 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring just to boiling.
  5. Add cabbage and apple; toss to coat.
  6. Cover and cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until cabbage wilts.
  7. Stir in sour cream and sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
