ingredients
- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 2 cups celery, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 10 cups water
- 1 (10 ounce) box frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 (10 ounce) box cauliflower or (10 ounce) box green beans
- 2 (12 ounce) cans v-8 juice
- 1⁄3 cup beef bouillon granules
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon knorr swiss armat seasoning for meat
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sage
- 1⁄2 teaspoon tarragon
directions
- Boil for 20 minutes cabbage, celery, onion and bell pepper with 10 cups water. Add frozen mixed vegetables and squash; cook 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Cook 1 hour longer. Contains 54 caleries per 8 oz. serving.

<p>I'm a 60 year old man living in south Arkansas with my wonderful wife. we've been married almost 35 years and we both love to cook. I became disabled and confined to a power chair in 1990 so I have a lot of time to try new recipes. In our church I'm famous for my melt in your mouth briskets. But nobody grills a porterhouse steak like my sweetie. We are looking for new recipes all the time. When I found RecipeZaar I new I had hit the jackpot. Our favorite restaurant is an all you can eat place called The Old Feed House; <br />Catfish, froglegs,ribs, etc with all the trimmings. Standing room only at times.</p>
