ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1 1⁄2 cups tomato sauce
- 3 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons italian seasoning
directions
- In a large skillet, cook sausage on med-high heat until just done; breaking up into small bits. Drain off grease.
- To the skillet add the tomato sauce and seasonings; stir to combine. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened; about 5 minutes.
- Serve on toasted Italian buns or bread.

Why "SoupCookie"?
My cousin Ryan use to come to my house after school sometimes and was *always* hungry! So he used to make his version of chocolate chip cookies and I can't remember what he did or didn't do right but the cookies never failed to come out flat and doughy and gooey. We'd put them in a bowl with milk and eat it with a spoon.....sooooo good!
To this very day his recipe has not been deciphered ;)
