  1. I made this ABSOLUTELY as written, using 2lb drumsticks. It is true comfort food, and though suprisingly sweet, we enjoyed it. I ended up with about 2 cups of stock in the pot, which is fine, I will make soup with it, but I would suggest using the low setting, that way the apples wont overcook, and shed their juice, which is what I think happened!

  2. The family loved it! I followed the recipe as written. I used 2lbs of boneless skinless chicken thighs and the low setting om my crockpot. The chicken was tender and delicious. When I made the rice in my rice cooker I used the remaining chicken stock and cream of celery soup that was left in the can and added water for the remaining liquid. The rice was fantastic I should have made a little more than I did. Next time I'll double it..

  3. I made this recipe this morning and I have to say it made the house smell wonderful. I added some sliced pieces of cabbage and I didn't have any celery soup, so used mushroom and added some cremini mushrooms too. I didn't have any rosemary but did use a product called Braggs Sprinkle and it has rosemary in it. I used 2 lbs. of chicken legs skin removed. It was absolutely delish! I loved the apples in this it really was nice. Thanks for the great recipe, I'll make this again

  4. I'm sorry, this was terrible. It had one note, which was sweet. I hate to waste food, and I couldn't even choke this down.
