Ingredients Nutrition

  • 3 lbs pork roast
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 18 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 4 cups apple cider or 4 cups juice
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 3 large apples, cleaned and sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced thinly
  • 1 bay leaf

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, heat oil and brown roast.
  2. Remove roast and saute onions.
  3. In the slow cooker, add apple cider, apples, beef stock and bay leaf.
  4. Place roast into slow cooker and add onions.
  5. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
