  1. When you say add soup mix do you mean the mix made up with water or the dry mix itself

  2. I'm seeing the words port tenderloin and port LOIN used through out the reviews. Some pictures look like a LOIN. Can you tell me if I should be buying a LOIN or a tenderloin?

  1. This was delicious!! My oldest who is usually very picky loved it and my husband who usually doesn't like gravy or any sauces on his potatoes used the extra juice for his potatoes. Will definitely make this again. I didn't have red wine so I used a blackberry wine instead and cooked for 6 hours in my slow cooker. Other then that I followed the recipe to a T. Thanks for the delicious recipe!! :)

  2. Delicious - made it exactly as described and now I just want to eat the whole plate of meat with nothing on the side. Great flavor on the juice - I think I'll make this for family the next time I have to host - so easy to make and I have all the ingredients in my house 99% of the time!

  3. This is what I needed. I had two hungry men and a pork tenderloin. I made this just as the Dr. ordered and it was perfect. The 13 year-old had three large portions, and hubby had two. The Aus Jus was totally delightful. This is definitely a keeper.

  4. Very simple & easy recipe with great flavor. Works great with thick cut chops as well.

  5. If I could give it a zero, it would be minus zero. I followed recipe to a tee and it was way too salty and therefore inedible. The only positive for this recipe is that the pork loin was tender. This is the 4th slow cooker recipe that I've made and all but one were disappointing, especially when the majority give a recipe 5 stars. I think my slow cooker will be in my next garage sale.

Tweaks

  1. 3 tablespoons of minced garlic is way too much in my opinion. I added 3 cloves and it was just right. Also, most packaged soup mixes have a lot of MSG - beware.
