Slow Cooker..tangy Steak Supper

directions

  • Roll steak in flour; brown in a skillet with 1/2 cup salad dressing --
  • add salt and pepper to taste --
  • arrange in a slow cooker --
  • add remaining ingredients, onion, green pepper and pineapple, if using --
  • cover and heat on low setting for 8-10 hours or on high setting for 4-6 hours --
  • serve over prepared rice.
  • Sometimes we go the comfort food route -- and have mashed potatoes in place of noodles.

  2. We had this last night (Monday 9/19/05) and it was wonderful. The meat was so tender it was just falling apart. I personally do not eat rice, but my DH had his over rice and loved it. Thank you for a filling supper that was quick & easy.

I love cooking, and reading Christian fiction..I have 5 grandchildren..4 boys and 1 spoiled granddaughter...I also have a black cocker spaniel named Tobey..who is very spoiled..Love computer games, cross stitch and reading cookbooks..I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia almost a year ago, on September 26, 2005....was in an out of the hospital for 8 months, doing intensive chemo...I am doing well now, thanks for all the prayers...
