  • Place the potatoes, onion salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and stock in a lightly greased medium slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 ½ hours.
  • Stir in the butter and milk.
  • With a potato masher, gently crush the potato mixture until the butter has completely melted and the mixture is smashed.
  • Stir and garnish with either crumbled bacon or snipped chives.
  • Serve warm.
