Smoked Fish Deviled Eggs

"My Step Father and his mother make these babies every year for Christmas dinner. It is the highlight of the dinner for me! I have started to make them for my family gatherings too! I eye ball all my recipes so you may need to add or decrease the ingredients to your liking."

  • 1 dozen egg
  • 1 (250 g) jar smoked fish fillet
  • 125 g cream cheese (half a package)
  • 3 -4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar lumpfish caviar

directions

  • Hard cook, peel, half and pull out the centeres of the eggs.
  • In a bowl mix half the yolks, the smoked fish (juices as well), crean cheese, hot sauce, and s+p. Mix very well. You could mix in a food processor too.
  • Taste the mix and make sure it is to your satisfaction :).
  • Fill each egg white half with mixture and top with a dab of caviar.
  • I do not add salt as the caviar adds enough of it!
  • They are best very chilled.
