  1. Boil potatoes, carrots, celery and onions in large covered pot of water, until tender (about 20 minutes).
  2. Drain water, return vegetables to pot.
  3. Stir in milk, salt and pepper and bring mixture to a boil.
  4. In a large bowl or pot, stir together sour cream, flour and paprika.
  5. Remove 1 cup of hot liquid from vegetable pot and gradually stir it into the sour cream mixture, until creamy.
  6. Slowly pour sour cream mixture into the pot.
  7. Cook on medium heat until bubbling
  8. Stir in liquid smoke, then add corn.
  9. Mix in option bacon if desired.
