The Sauce
- 1⁄2 cup red hot sauce (Louisiana, Frank's but NOT Tabasco)
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1⁄4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch

The Burger
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 5 -6 slices bacon, cooked until crisp, crumbled (optional)
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- kosher salt
- fresh black pepper

The Trimmings
- 2 -3 large celery ribs, sliced thin
- 1 1⁄2 cups chunky blue cheese dressing
- hamburger bun
directions
- In a heavy saucepan, combine the sauce ingredients and simmer on medium-low heat until thickened; set aside.
- Mix together the burger ingredients and grill or broil 6 - 7 minutes on each side. Generously coat with prepared sauce the cooked burger and serve topped with celery and blue cheese dressing on toasted hamburger buns.
