  1. Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy.
  2. Sift flour; add flour and salt to the creamed mixture, blending thoroughly.
  3. Add pecans and mix well.
  4. Shape into 1 inch balls and place on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 325°F for 20 minutes. (Do not let brown).
  6. Let cool; then roll each cookie in powdered sugar to look like little snowballs.
