"This bread is a little bit like beer bread, but is a little sweeter and much more kid friendly. It is also super easy to make. The dough will be very lumpy and sticky. It will look like you need to add more flour, but you don't."

ingredients
- 3 cups self-rising flour
- 1⁄2 cup white sugar
- 1 (12 ounce) can carbonated lemon-lime beverage
- 1⁄4 cup unsalted butter or 1/4 cup margarine
directions
- Grease bread pan.
- Mix flour, sugar, and soda.
- Pour dough into bread pan.
- Melt butter and pour over top of dough.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
