  1. In large mixer bowl cream together shortening, sugar and vanilla add eggs beat til light and fluffy; fold in bananas, set aside.
  2. In medium bowl mix together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg baking soda and salt.
  3. Mix into creamed mixture, mix in walnuts.
  4. Chill dough 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven 350' degrees F Spray baking sheet, drop by teaspoonful onto sheet, bake 8-10 minutes, til touched lightly they bounce back.
