Directions

  1. Combine yeast, water, sugar and salt in a large bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in flour and knead until dough is smooth.
  3. Shape dough into pretzel shapes, using extra water as "glue.".
  4. Place each pretzel on a greased cookie sheet.
  5. Brush with egg and sprinkle with salt.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes at 425 degrees.
