  1. Mix flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Stir in egg and vanilla.
  4. Beat in dry ingredients.
  5. Add milk and mix.
  6. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
  7. Roll and cut into desired shapes.
  8. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-12 minutes.
  9. Glaze with your favorite glaze or with this frosting:.
  10. 2 cups powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 1 tsp vanilla.
  11. Mix well.
  12. Add more powdered sugar if frosting is too thin.
  13. Add food coloring if desired and spread on cookies.
  14. Very tasty.
