ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons shortening
- 3⁄4 cup warm water
directions
- mix dry ingredients together.
- add water.
- roll out on lightly floured surface.
- heat and flip when it begins to rise.

Blasphemy!! Sonoran flour tortillas do not include baking powder or any other leavening. Flour, salt, water, fat. That’s all.
