1. My mom made this for years and "taught" me how to make it. I do not add the optional tabasco sauce. We enjoy this with fresh veggies.

 2. This is one of my all time favorite dips!!! So delicious and so simple! Discovered it years ago at a party & begged for months for my friend to get the recipe. Come to find out it only consisted of Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix & sour cream. I figured she had to be wrong & immediately made it to see for myself. Been making it ever since! Throw this together for a party with some fresh veggies and crackers or chips & I guarantee you'll not only please your old friends, but probably make some new ones!

 3. Thanks for sharing this easy recipe. I skipped the Tabasco since I was making this for a party and wasn't sure about people's taste. Served it in the center of a veggie tray, and people must have liked it because some of it was gone when the party ended. :) I made it the night before to allow the flavors to meld, but personally I still thought the flavor was a lot better once the leftovers had been in the fridge for a couple of days - it gave those dried vegetables in the soup mix time to soften, too. I will probably make this again.

 4. This dip is so easy and it tastes AMAZING! It goes perfect with chips or veggies and everyone always raves over it. I have made it several times and every time it's a hit. There are never any leftovers! What a great dip!

I am the proud mother of 3..... 2 girls and a boy. This is a picture of myself and my oldest daughter, who is now a married woman, and is a Recipe Zaar member, known as "Sarah in New York"!! I have been married for 30 years to a wonderful Christian man who is crazy about me, and calls me "Bean". Everyone wonders how he doesn't weigh 300 pounds, the way our family eats! I was raised by a mom that was a chef from West Virginia, and I learned to love to cook....and to appreciate how to use a good glassful of reserved bacon fat ") My family has been in ministry to troubled teenagers in upstate New York for 28 years. Both my daughters are married now, and we all work in the same ministry, one teaching music like myself, and the other, a teacher in the high school. My girls and I also travel and sing with teens from our ministry throughout the year in churches, schools, and detention centers all over the USA and Canada. My son was in Nigeria for a year, teaching English in a Christian school, and is now back in the U.S. attending college in upstate N.Y. He is an accomplished guitarist and is one of the worship leaders in his church. I love this website that my daughter, "Sarah in New York" introduced me to! :) I am a blessed Mommy Bean :) Please check out the link to the home for troubled teens where we work! www.freedomvillageusa.com
