  • Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Sift cake flour and soda 3 times and stir into the above mixture.
  • Add sour cream and vanilla.
  • Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
  • Bake in ungreased 10-inch tube pan for 1 hour in 350 degree oven.
  • Bake in ungreased 10-inch tube pan for 1 hour in 350 degree oven.
  • Make an icing of the last five ingredients to pour over cake when it is cool.
  • Cook butter, sugar, and milk until thick.
  • Stir in coconut and pecans.
  • Cool and pour over cake.

I work for a bank in Brandon, MS. My hubbie is a police officer in Jackson. I have a great cookbook that is called "Any Blonde Can Cook". It is awesome. I love to cook...when I have the time. My family keeps me pretty busy though. I enjoy reading books, going to the movies, traveling, spending time with my family, cooking, playing with Lizzie Belle, tanning, and getting my nails done.
