  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add egg yolks one at a time, beating well before adding the next.
  • Mix baking soda and flour together, and alternate adding flour mixture and sour cream.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, and fold into batter.
  • Bake at 325 for 1 1/2 hours.
