Questions & Replies

  1. Im wondering if this is using an older recipe because the box of butter cake mix I could find are all 15.25 oz.; not 18-1/2 oz. What adjustment would need to be made; add more flour? Thank you!

  2. Does this recipe make a loaf or full pound cake

  3. Is there no certain way to prepare the batter?

  4. What kind of flour you use?

  1. Was looking for something different using a cake mix but still feeling "homemade" -- this cake is awesome -- light & moist. Cooking times were perfect. I did let it cool in bundt pan for 1 hr as well and then inverted on cake plate. Thanks for posting. I can commit this one to memory and make on the fly!! Since there were no pics, I decided to post what I ended up with from "out of the oven" to "inverted on cake plate" to "sliced and quickly disappearing in our kitchen" photos. Really great and easy.
