Directions

  1. Melt shortening and butter.
  2. Combine dry ingredients in bowl.
  3. Separate eggs. Place whites in small bowl and beat until stiff. Place yellows in large bowl.
  4. Add sour cream and milk to yolks and mix.
  5. Add wet ingredients and melted fat alternately to flour mixture. Beat well.
  6. Fold in egg white mixture.
  7. Cook in waffle maker. Freeze extras.
