Ingredients Nutrition

  • Night Before
  • 12 cup sourdough starter
  • 1 12 cups flour
  • 1 14 cups water
  • Morning
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons shortening (or oil)
  • 14 teaspoon baking soda (more if sourdough is very sour)

Directions

  1. Night Before: Combine the ingredients and set aside.
  2. Morning: Combine the rest of the ingredients except baking soda and add to the flour mixture. Just before ready to make, add the baking soda.
  3. Bake on a hot griddle.
