- 2 cups fresh basil, coarsely chopped
- 1⁄2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 6 tomatillos, husked and cut into fourths
- 1 -2 jalapeno, seeded
- 1⁄2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1⁄2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1⁄2 cup toasted pine nuts
- 1⁄2 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1⁄2 cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
directions
- In a food processor, combine all ingredients and process to desired consistency. Coat a thin layer of olive oil on top of mixture to keep sauce from darkening once refrigerated. Serve over pasta, grilled chicken, etc.
