ingredients
- 1 pint strawberry, hulled and cut in half
- 3 large oranges, peeled and sectioned
- 3⁄4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1⁄4 cup honey
- 2 bananas, sliced
- coconut (freshly grated is best)
directions
- Place strawberries and oranges in serving bowl.
- Combine orange juice and honey; mix well.
- Pour over fruit.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Add bananas and mix.

This is yummy. DD1 (4 years old) likes it too. I used freshly squeezed orange juice from the peel and pith which I cut off all my sections. I like to properly food combine fruit as per http://www.rawplus.com/images/foodcom.jpg so I would have left out the banana but DD1 wanted it and it tastes good with it but gives a bloated feeling with the acidic fruits & juice. I used 1 tbs less clear honey (I think the recipe could do without any), dried coconut plus the strawberries. Made for "I've saved all these recipes!" March Diabetic Tag.
