  • 4 cube steaks
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 12 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 14 teaspoons salt
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup flour
  • 14 cup lard
  • 1 cup milk
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons flour

directions

  • season meat with garlic, pepper, and salt.
  • Dip into flour, then eggs, then flour again.
  • Heat lard in large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry steaks on each side for 3-4 minutes.
  • Gravy recipe.
  • Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of lard. Mix in flour (2tbsp.) with the oil. cook over med. heat and gradually whisk in milk. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
  • Add salt and pepper.
  • Serve over steaks.
