Southwestern Cheeseburgers - W W

"This is a recipe that I got from WW when I first started the program over 10 years ago when there were exchanges. The entire recipe, including the salad is approximately 5 points per serving"

  1. Delicious! We really enjoyed these juicy and flavorful burgers. I wouldn't change anything about them. Thanks!

  2. Delicious! I made just as stated. These have such great flavor. Thanks for sharing! Made for Gimme 5 tag.

  3. I had the butcher grind the meat. I also cooked over a charcoal grill, and it was delicious! I served with buns, to encourage the entire family to eat it instead of just me. I decreased the amount of minced onion by half, and felt the onion taste was still strong enough. I served these topped with lettuce, avocado, and my sugared jalapenos. Fabulous! Made for Zaar 123 Tag game.

  4. Yummy dish! I did use 93% lean ground beef. I omitted the red onion wedges cuz I made recipe #237154 to go with our dinner. I also replace the canned chilies with a fresh jalapeno diced. Other wise made as posted. I really loved the flavor of the salad dressing while DH really enjoyed the cheeseburger (his was on a bun). I cut the recipe in half and it worked great. Thanks for posting. :)

  5. A wonderfully tasty burger which both thoroughly enjoyed for lunch, I did cheat and add a burger bun, as this was our main meal of the day - so, this was a 7.5 point lunch, not bad! I used mixed salad leaves and mixed coloured tomatoes for my salad - and we had quite a lot of it as we love salads. The seasoning in the burgers make them a little different to normal burgers and we loved it. Made for Aussie swap #22 - thanks! FT:-)
