Southwestern Cilantro Pork

"I got this recipe from cdkitchen.com. I have not made it yet but I plan to soon. I tend to take recipes and turn them into "dump" recipes (put it all in a ziplock bag and freeze it for later use) and it looks like this one may also work!"

  1. This recipe was...ok. I followed the directions without making any changes. It tasted like it was missing something. Probably not something I would make again.

  2. Wow!! Is this ever good!! The flavor is amazing and the chops were very tender. DH is a cilantro lover and was in heaven with every mouthful. Since it was a work day, I'll confess that I cooked it on low for 8 hours rather than on high as you directed. This could be served with typical rice and beans, in tortillas, or as we did with my Jalapeno Potatoes #162527. Thanks for a great recipe Renea'!

I am always looking for new recipes so I am glad I found this site. I have a strange situation due to being allergic to Corn. Until recently I was also allergic to wheat so I am starting to put that back into my diet again. It takes time but I have been able to modify many recipes here in order to try them. They will turn out a little different sometimes but most of the time they are very good. There are only a few dishes that I cook more than once.
