  1. I know some folks don't like when you do this - but I used this recipe as a base and enjoyed the results. I'm writing them here - so others can utilize the info - or ignore as you choose. I started with Chicken sausage, garlic, onion, Jalapeno, two cans of rotel tomatoes (drained), frozen corn (about a cup and a half), large can (6 oz) green chiles and dried green and red peppers (cause I didn't have fresh). As far as spices I used a tsp or two of the following: adobo seasoning, chipolte pepper, mesquite smoke and taco seasoning. And lastly, a dash of cayenne. Put all over the pasta and added about 3/4 C cheese at the end. I enjoyed this - hope someone gets benefit from this info.... :)

  2. Very good, though no leftovers! Might go ahead and double next time. I think that it would be good with some chicken too for a milder taste (with maybe a little taco seasoning or something). Thanks :)

  3. with a few alterations to the recipe, we really enjoyed this dish, I used extra spicy chorizo and added in 2 heaping tablespoons of fresh minced garlic when sauteeing the sausage and veggies, I also added in some crushed red chili flakes, I think this would also be great with rice, thanks for sharing MsSally!

  4. This is pretty good, I did make a few changes based on ingredients I had on hand. No corn or green chilis, but added black olives and mushrooms. I also used spaghetti noodles, diced tomatoes, and my chorizo was Recipe #228870. Thanks Sally, great dish!

  5. This was a nice filling meal. I used whole wheat rotini pasta and lowfat habanero green chile smoked chicken turkey sausage. This was very colorful and had a good unseasoned flavor. The sauce was thin but there was just enough to coat the noodles so it wasn't a problem. This filled my largest skillet to the brim! My husband said he would have preferred it with fresh tomatoes. I don't think the cheese is really needed. Made for Photo Tag.
