  • Heat oil and brown the ground beef. Once beef is browned add chopped onion, green pepper and garlic. Saute until soft. Add all the remianing ingredients, cover and simmer for 2 hours. If sauce gets too thick add a little more water to thin it out.

  2. I love this recipe. It's nice and thick and has a great flavor. I usually double the recipe and add a pound of ground Italian sausage instead of a second pound of ground beef.
