Spaghetti Al Limone

"There was great little Italian restaurant in my neighborhood. They used to send out a newsletter with recipes, and this is one of my favorite dishes from this restaurant. This is best served immediately. Cooking times are estimated, as I usually go to the restaurant and order it rather than cooking it myself! Unfortunately, the restaurant closed suddenly, so glad I have this recipe!"

  1. This is the second time I have made this recipe and can't believe I haven't posted a review earlier. This is so easy to make and tasty! I will say this, squeeze real lemons and real lemon zest. Makes a world of difference in the flavor. I tried with bottled lemon juice (the little squeeze lemons) and then this time fresh, fresh wins hands down. I also threw some chicken breasts on my George Foreman grill and Oila! a PERFECT meal.

  2. I loved how the lemon and the parsley tasted together with all those noodles!!!

  3. This was a great and easy recipe! :) I used 1 tsp dried parsley as didn't have fresh. It was gobbled up!!

  4. Oh boy, this is really good! Definitely company worthy, would be great for Valentine's Day. Very quick and easy, too. The hint of lemon combined with the cream sauce is so fresh and delicious. To die for! Used fresh-grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese. Normally I'd avoid recipes with this much cream and butter, but this recipe is so worth the splurge. Thanks for sharing the recipe! Made for PAC Fall 2007.

I'm a stay at home mom of 2 beautiful girls, 4 years and 1 year. My favorite cookbooks are King Arthur Flour Whole Grain Baking and RecipeZaar! I find that most of my free time is spent cooking or looking for new recipes to try. I'm on a mission to eliminate high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils from my diet and add more whole grains. In 8 months, I've lost 15 pounds by making these simple changes. I wany my girls to grow up making healthy food choices, without feeling like they're missing out on something. <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/Adopted1smp.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket">
