Spaghetti and Meatballs

"Your basic spaghetti and homemade meatballs. Due to time constraiints in my life, I have to use store-bought sauce. Of course, I have to doctor it up a little."

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • For meatballs, combine the first six ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
  • Roll the meat mixture into 1 1/2 to 2 oz balls and place on a cookie sheet.
  • Place meatballs in oven and bake for 20 - 30 minutes turning once.
  • In a sauce pan, stir Oregano, Basil and Garlic into the sauce.
  • Heat the sauce and simmer for at least 20 minutes.
  • Bring about a gallon of water to a boil.
  • Once the water is boiling, add the kosher salt and spaghetti and cook till al dente (about 10 minutes).
  • While pasta cooks, remove the meatballs from the oven and add to the sauce.
