  2. drain excess grease, and add in all the seasonings, onion, and garlic.
  3. reduce heat to medium, and cook until onion is soft (about 10 minutes).
  4. Mix in the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste.
  5. simmer on low (2/10) for 30+ minutes (longer is better, recommend 1 hour for best results).
  6. Taste every 15 minutes and season to taste.
