Ingredients Nutrition

  • Sauce
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans water
  • 1 (29 ounce) can tomato puree
  • 1 (29 ounce) can water
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon dry onion flakes (more or less to taste)
  • 2 teaspoons italian seasoning (more or less to taste)
  • 8 tablespoons sugar
  • cut up vegetables, such as green pepper, onions, mushrooms (optional)
  • Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Italian spices
  • 14 cup parmesan cheese
  • 14 cup milk
  • 18 teaspoon salt
  • 18 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Sauce: combine all ingredients in large dutch oven.
  2. Simmer on stove top 3-5 hours.
  3. Meatballs: Combine all ingredients together in large bowl.
  4. Shape into balls and place in simmering sauce to cook.
  5. **the meatballs can be browned in oven or on stovetop instead of being cooked in sauce.
