  1. This was a simple meal to throw together and the flavor was wonderful! We added more tomato juice because we used more pasta and didn't want it to dry out. This is a very tasty weeknight dinner. And, the leftovers are just as good and full of flavor!

  2. This made a wonderfully easy, tasty supper! A perfect weeknight meal for when I don't have a lot of energy to cook. I added a bit more water and tomato juice because I used 16 oz of pasta. The leftovers were great the next day for lunch. Thanks so much MizzNezz for a wonderful recipe that we'll have many more times!

  3. A simple skillet meal made with basic ingredients. Seasoned to taste with salt and pepper.

  4. This was easy and delicious! We really enjoyed it. I read the reviews prior to making and I too added a little more water and tomato juice as I used about 3/4 of a 16 oz. box of spaghetti. Next time I might use the full 16 oz. or add some mushrooms. We will definitely make this again. It was very tasty. Thanks for the recipe!

  5. I didn't understand the reason for the instruction to let it simmer 30 minutes before you put the spaghetti in. I wouldn't think there would be enough liquid left to cook the pasta. I actually added 2 additional cups of water, brought it to a simmer and cooked it for a total of 30 minutes. I also added an extra teaspoon of salt. It was spaghetti with a mild western kick from the chili powder. I was happy that it all cooked in one skillet and it made a lot. MizzNezz, thanks for another great recipe. This one will be a repeat!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
