- Add shallot; saute 3 minutes.
- Add broth, zucchini, mushrooms, and tomatoes; bring mixture to a boil.
- Decrease heat to medium; simmer 15 minutes.
- Stir in ham, chicken, thyme, salt, and pepper to taste; continue to simmer 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let stand briefly before serving.
