ingredients
- 3 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2⁄3 cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup nuts, chopped
- 1 1⁄2 cups prunes, cooked, drained and chopped
- 8 ounces powdered sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon orange extract
- 3 tablespoons orange juice
- 1⁄8 cup butter, softened
directions
- In bowl.Cream 2/3 c butter,brown sugar,milk,vanilla.
- Add flour,salt,cinnamon,baking powder and soda. Mix in chopped prunes and nuts.
- preheated oven 350 degrees,bake 10-12 minutes,drop teaspoon full on greased cookie sheet.Cool and frost.
- Mix and beat till smooth icing ingredients.When light and fluffy,ice cookies -- And watch them disappear -- .
