  1. So good! Used Panko and boneless skinless breasts. Amazing!

  2. Very good, however I would not put all the chicken in a bag to coat, I doubled the breadcrumbs and there was barely enough to coat. Next time I will coat them individually, I did not use powdered milk and added 1/2 tsp Chipotle pepper because we like it on the spicy side. I marinated 10 thighs for an hour, in a blended mixture 1/2 cup of milk and sour cream. I found the breading was sticking to the bottom, next time I will try on a rack in a cookie sheet

  3. We loved this recipe! My husband isn't a fan of dark meat or skin so I made this with boneless skinless chicken breast & we loved it.

  4. This was so easy and everything was in my pantry which made it a quick meal too! I served it with steamed sprouts, acorn squash and raw fries. Wonderfully tasty recipe. thanks.

  5. You were right about this -- it is spicy and just right! I used bone-in chicken breasts. I didn't have powdered milk or garlic salt, but otherwise followed. Will make again! Thanks.

Tweaks

  1. I just tried this recipe and was very impressed. I made a couple of changes, I used cornflake crumbs instead of breadcrumbs, and left out the mustard, simply because I didn't have all the ingredients. It was superb! Quite spicy, lovely crunchy coating,a nd tender juicy chicken. Will make this again.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
