Spicy Baked New Potatoes

"These are so easy to make and so tasty. A little on the hot side, so be warned. NOTE: I used Mrs. Dash's Southwest Chipotle Seasoning Blend for this dish, however, the recipe could not be accepted that way. So the dried Chipotle powder in the recipe should be Mrs. Dash's Southwest Chipotle Seasoning Blend."

  1. Perfection in the oven!! This was SO good. I didn't have the chipotle seasoning so I just made a chipotle blend using my dried chipotle chili pepper. I will do this again!! Thanks for sharing!!

  2. This recipe was recommended by Chef #386585. These are very yummy taters! I used red potatoes and didn't even bother to pre-cook them. I just tossed everything together and spread them on a baking sheet in a single layer. Then baked for 45 minutes and they were perfect. Nice heat using the chipolte powder. Thanks for sharing. :)

  3. These were lovely! I used small Yukon Gold potatoes, and the texture was perfect, as well as the spice. I will definitely be making this again. Made for Football Tag Week #8.

  4. Made these for breakfast the other day and thought they were awesome! DH loved them and I loved that he didn't have salt on them at all. :) Thanks for a keeper!

  5. Smoky, spicy, crisp potatoes that are super easy to make. Unable to find the specified blend, I ground up 2 tsps of dried chipotle flakes with 1 tsp of Mrs. Dash Table Blend. It still was not _make-you-sweat_ hot so I added a little ground cayenne pepper to take it over the edge. I halved the amount of potatoes for the two of us but used all the seasoning. The parboiling is a great idea! The spuds got nice and crispy in 20 minutes. Thanks for posting your recipe!

It's just a tad boring now and just another recipe site like all the rest. Sad.
