Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray two 9x5 loaf pans with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Cream shortening and sugar until light.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  5. In separate bowl, sift together flour,salt, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.
  6. Add flour mixture to shortening mixture.
  7. Blend well.
  8. Add well mashed bananas, blend well.
  9. Add nuts.
  10. Pour into the two prepared pans.
  11. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  12. Testing with wooden toothpick.
