ingredients
- 4 ounces butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 1 cup milk
- 1⁄2 cup sultana
- 1 egg
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
directions
- Mix all together and bake in 2 log tins for 30-40 min @ 180c.

Juliet, This was a lovely cake. There was not a heavy spice taste, which I appreciated. A little cream cheese on top was wonderful! I didn't have a log tin so used a couple of tall cans. Just had to double the cooking time, but they came out beautiful. Adopted for Spring 2008 PAC.
