“I find that using the broiler is alot faster than using conventional baking. I also use an ingredient called Hazel Hamout, which is a middle eastern blend of curry, cayenne pepper, edible flower petals, and rosemary. I found out about it on one of my trips to the Jean Talon market in Montreal. You're most likely to find it in Arab stores, because thst is where I found mine. You can mix curry and cayenne pepper together to give a similar taste. I'll list it below as optional, even though I use it all the time in this recipe.”

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler at 500 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients together.
  3. Shape into small patties and put on broiler rack.
  4. Cook patties at 8 minutes each side.
