Spicy Chicken in Foil

"Fast, tasty and easy--can't beat that. This is my husband's absolute favorite baked chicken. I serve with plain rice to soak up the wonderful juices. An easy dish backed in the oven, but also a great recipe to try over the coals when camping."

  1. What a great recipe! I made it last night for 3 dinner guests. I ended up putting all 4 chicken breasts into a ceramic baking dish then covering it up with foil. It was delicious and Ill be making it again.

  2. Easy to make and has a wonderful taste. Will definitely make again.

  3. I really enjoyed the flavor of this recipe. I made plain rice with it, and poured the juices over it. DH and son's thought there wasn't enough flavor, maybe I might try adding more cayenne or some tabasco sauce. Also next time I might try putting the chicken in a 13x9 dish and covering it instead of the individual foil.

I live in the San Francisco area and love it here. I discovered Recipezaar (then Food.com..Genius Kitchen) in 2001 and have been so happy to have my favorite recipes stored safely here. I am mother to 7 and grandmother to 7. I love to knit, smock, sew, etc., but my favorite hobby of the moment is traditional rug hooking. This is a sample of what I do.? It's called "November".? I dyed most of the wool myself. It is made from wool flannel, cut into strips a little less than 1/4" and then worked into a linen backing. This is my 3rd rug.
